Yvonne, these are wonderful shots. I see by the green shutters, that many of them were taken in Venice. I will have to look up more in residential neighborhoods to find these wonders. I’m going through Secret Venice, which I bought after your recommendation and plotting my routes! Looks like end of March. Will you still be there?
That was my first wonderment in Venice that I wasn’t expecting…the window boxes and terraces and balconies full of flowers and greenery. As I was coming in by water taxi that first time I thought I’d entered a fairy land. And it was the end of October!
Grazie for the lovely pictures.
Michelle, I’ve just watched the latest video on the e-venise site, http://www.e-venise.com/index.html and it made me cry! The Cardinal must be sad to leave Venice.
I want windows like that!!!
Darlene, your deck has a very lovely outlook!
Funny, I took the same windows when I was there in December! They are lovely : )
Have a nice weekend!
AnnaLivia, it’s so difficult to find original subjects now, everyone loves Venice and takes so many photos.

Hi, Maxine. That time of year is great for seeing all sorts of flowers, etc.

Hi, Jude. That’s great news that you have March in your sights. I leave Venice mid-February. One year our paths will collide.
Yes, you sure have to look up, and down, there’s always some treasure waiting to be discovered.
