Thanks are due to a Facebook friend for this little beauty.
I know that Aussie folks will get it immediately, but what about the rest of you? Was the poor fellow killed by the mushrooms?

I hope all’s well in your neck of the woods. And thank you for loving the leopard silk scarves I’ve had made. I hope you get to travel with scarves again soon!! 😉 x0xx

Hiya. I didn’t get notice of your reply, so I am glad I came to have a look!
❤ and xxx to you.
Oh you vegemite loving people 🤣😂
Being a transplanted Canadian in Australia, I never touch that stuff.
One day I’ll try it and one day I’ll try haggis 🤣
Okay, and I might join you!
Well that escalated quickly.

You have really lost me this time. I am dying to know
Hi, Jane. Mandies are mandarins, which are in season right now.
I’m surprised the second one didn’t just say mushies!
True! They obviously have standards to meet, eh?
Was it a drug store?
“You may very well think so. I can’t possibly comment on that.” (I miss that series.)
Very interesting, but if you have decided to kill somebody with mushrooms, do you need to write it down. If so, your memory is really bad.
So, you should also put a little note on the list. (Use mushrooms on Fred. 🙂 )
Haha! I wouldn’t have known! Cx
See how educational blogs can be? xx
love these two together – moderns and shrooms – wonder what they were gong to make ?
I can imagine mandarins and mushies in a recipe together. 🙂
Oops, should be ‘can’t imagine. ‘
Shoud’a picked his own mushies.
He sure shoud’a!
Well he was being a bit of a toff you know.

I do like Aussie slanguage.
A bit like the time I went to the ‘loo in Queensland during growing season. One sign said, “Man Goes”, with a picture of two of the fruit hanging close together. The other said “No Man Goes”. No picture needed 🙂
In Canada, I once saw a sign saying Wall nuts for sale. Poor Wall(y).
Are they mangoes or mandarins???? e.g. It’s cold – put on your cardie kiddies.
You’re getting too darn clever for me, BA.
Mandies are in season in Oz right now. Does that help?
And, we need more than a cardie where I live. Wooly jumpers are essential.
Yikes! I’m looking forward to hearing from Aussies in the know!
Aussies like to shorten words, so mandies=mandarins, Susie. No human was harmed in the compiling of that list. 🙂
