Just another mystery travel photo

This tranquil scene is from a place in Italy I hadn’t visited before. The city I stayed in seemed relatively industrial, but that might have been down to my choice of the area I chose to rent an apartment. But, it was close to the train station which allowed me to explore further afield, and I did discover some interesting historical places in this city.

Something strange is going on with my newly refurbished laptop. Some of you might see the previous paragraph all in capital letters. I swear I did not type it that way; I am NOT hollering at you!

  1. I have no idea but it looks like the fisherman is very relaxed. And that old brick wall is lovely.

  2. Same here, Bert, it depends which piece of technology I use. Ho-hum.

I just like reading where people think it might be. Caroline knows, she came from Venice and spent a couple of days with me there, and shared my feelings about this city.

It’s even weirder on my prehistoric PC! When I read it in my email Inbox, it appeared ‘normal’, i.e. lower case. When I clicked on it to read more, it was in upper case!
I have no idea where you took the photo. Have you forgotten where it was and need help in finding it, or do you know where it is and you are just quizzing us?

  4. I believe you. That picture is good enough to need no amplification.

  7. It’ definitely come through as capitals on mine. I’m having trouble on my out of date iPad reading other’s posts. Often the photos are obliterating the text. But it doesn’t happen on my other devices. Sheesh!

  8. Oh I recognize that wall as clear as a bell. I was driving from Palermo to Milan when I decided to call in and see Uncle Giovanni (pictured). Incidentally he caught no fish that day.

  9. I have no idea where the tranquil scene might be but it looks like a place where you could spend a few lazy hours. I often send some of my comments on a small iPad and my fingers often hit the wrong letters so the older I get the more forgiveness I need.
