Those masks are hilarious, Yvonne. With shirts to match! James and I found some masks made with a Hawaiian print of a hula dancer on it. They seem to make people smile – although sometimes it’s hard to tell. 🙂 ~Terri
OOH! 😮 Wolf-y! And more fun than plain masks. Ha! 😀
How nice of them to be photographed!
HUGS!!! 🙂
PS…What do you call a wolf who has everything figured out?

I told Mr ET I was going to make us a couple of masks each and he said he didn’t want a boring one. He wanted one with a big smile on it. He might have to take what he gets because I don’t want to spend all day on them. I hope you are all managing to stay safe and well and keep your sanity while all this continues to unfold. I think everyone is doing an amazing job under very difficult circumstances and I’m glad I don’t have to do the politicians’ job.
I am so glad that our Premiers are keeping things as steady as they can, in the circumstances. Dan Andrews, our Premier hasn’t missed a day of fronting the press; he looks very weary.
He’s doing a great job and showing so much determination and loyalty. He does look very tired. Yes, there have been mistakes made but also lessons learned in what is a day by day situation. We’re very happy with Annastacia’s performance too and glad she’s stood up to the constant hounding of the media and other Premiers. It’s funny that all they talk about is QLD’s border closures when all the other states are doing the same thing. So annoying. If they asked most ordinary people they would find we are all very happy with how things are.
I already made two masks for my daughter who lives in Sydney using the free pattern on the Spotlight website and she said they worked fine and are quite comfortable. So I’ll go with that again and choose some funky fabrics. My mum has asked for some for her and Dad so I’ll do a production line.

Hi Terri. It’s fun to see people wearing different masks, most seem to be taking it all in their strides.
There was a recent report that we have had a 99% reduction in the incidence of flu this year, a little silver lining.

Have you seen the ones that are a runny nose? Great for ensuring others maintain social distancing!

Tell us what you end up with for mask designs.

You are like a modern day Henry Ford.
I agree, most sensible people know the right thing to do, and do it.

How does the dentist drill with masks like that?

One of my pesky neighbours is a dentist. She and her nurse stay covered, the patient removes their mask. Simples. 😬

You have interesting neighbours.

They’re the same neighbours who turned up as pesky tourists in Venice, moved into my apartment, followed me everwhere. Can’t shake them. 😊

Very handy for disguising one’s transition into a wolf. Making a note of this.

My glove box is bulging with them. It’s been good on frosty mornings, when we get to the 40s this summer, it won’t be very comfortable!

I remember the 40+ temperatures of Christmas 2007, Yvonne. Thank you veery much.

They were kind of scary, to be honest. But the people behind the mask were lovely, I could see their eyes crinkle with smiles. 🙂

A great way to lift spirits – their own and yours! I love it.

I’m glad I stopped and trotted after them, to get permission to take their photos. I’ll bet they attracted lots of attention in Coles today.
I am so happy that our Dan is not being pushed around by the Canberra bully boys!
