May I present some miscellaneous images for you, because you deserve a break.
Just some faces carved in a tree stump, Trastevere.
And, thanks to Roman Despatches, we now know a bit about the young artist who did these: https://youtu.be/7nGHT_oGvyc

This post brought tears to my eyes; I never had a 2CV Citroen but I wish I had kept both my Light Fifteen and the Big Six, The Citroen was way ahead of its time.
And I also had a Goddess

It’s a shame that this one is sitting on the street subject to all the weather. The old Citroens had so much character.
I’m off to look for images of the ones you had.

Yes please do. Especially the Light15.

Right, here’s the plan. You’ll write your planned posts on tips for toddling teachers, then decide to see if it can be published. It will be, you’ll get moderately rich and go to a Shannon’s auction to buy one of these lovely cars. Then you can do a tour of Australia and new Zealand to meet the folks who read your blog!

That is a plan. That is certainly a plan. Not just an ordinary plan, but a good plan.

I’m very tempted to do something Mondrian-ish in the Palatial Granny Flat. Let’s see what happens, eh? ❤

It seems a shame that this old car is just sitting in the street in the elements, Michel. ❤
Now, some are getting a new life in Paris! blob:https://www.bloomberg.com/42a5148c-04ef-4f8a-9ce8-6f2982ec9ab6

Great pictures! I could see you driving around in that Citroen and then parking in front of your palatial granny flat! 🙂 xx

Well, if Mary Poppins was here…I’d ask her to sing those “are a few of my favorite things”…because several of them are! (cats, bubbles, carved faces, stained-glass!)
Great photos!
HUGS!!! 🙂
PS…saw some Citroens in movie recently.

Modesty is not a strong point of mine, I’ve never believe in false modesty 😁😁😁

Aha! I have no modesty either, false or otherwise! Now, off to hit the streets to see if I can find anything of interest for you and the others. Cheers, old chap. ❤

The author of the blog Roman Despatches has left a link to a video about the young artist who does these!

You would have some granny flat beyond an entry like that! Love the bubbles.

Yes, I aim at a palatial Granny Flat. My aim may fall a tad short, however. 🙂

At least the entry would be impressive, even if it was only cupboard sized after that.

Well, I picked the right time to drop by. That was too easy. Bubbles… always love bubbles….

Okay, the challenge is on. The next post will have to one that is demanding, obviously.
I’m always tempted to elbow the young kids aside, when it comes to bubbles. They’re mine, all mine.

You can give me all the kitty pictures you like. I spend way too much time watching cat videos on line but someone needs to tell those posters that poor cat falling off the edge of the sofa or misjudging the distance of a jump…not funny. And I still haven’t figured out why cats are afraid of cucumbers.
The other pics are delightful bits of whimsy😀

The internet was designed for cat videos! I agree, I don’t like the ones where cats don’t quite judge distances correctly.

I’m amazed by the number of people who watch the cat videos. I expect people like you and me but non cat people watch them too. Guess it’s all part of the cat master plan to take over the world.
