Sorry

My stay in Naples has come to an abrupt halt, and I  am on my way back to Australia to meet a tall, dark, competent orthopaedic surgeon. Talk about your drama queen, eh?

Behave yourselves while I’m  not here  to discipline you. Don’t  do anything I would do. 😊

  10. How are you, Yvonne after you fall in Italy? I hope your sjoulder is functionning again now .
I loved your comment about geese which are good guards and I thought of the geese of the Capitoline in Rome . Those geese saved the Romans of a Gallic attack , shouting to alert them! 🙂

  11. Oh my, I have no idea where you are living since I don’t see any recent post. I am so sorry about your bum elbow and having to use your no-dominant hand. It must be a real beyotch as they say. You have been liking some of my comments and I’m sorry not to have followed up with you. I appreciate all the likes. I stay pretty limited in energy and sometimes it is time but mostly energy that keeps me from blogging as I would like.

I hope by now that you are mended and if your are still in Australia don’t let that keep you from blogging. Australia, from what I’ve read and seen via photos and is quite diverse and has many beautiful and interesting areas.

    Take care.
Regards to Yvonne from another Yvonne

  15. To encourage you, Yvonne, here are some news from my wife. Although she can not lift her right arm completely and is still a little weak, she can do a lot of things in the garden, in the house and drive the car (including the shift lever ).
All my best thoughts for you.

  16. What about you Yvonne? Perhaps are you rid of the sling or perhaps still have you to wait a week ? Janine has well recovered but not totally since January..However she makes almost as much than before . Courage is needed for you both.

  22. I am sorry to learn by your comment today on my wordpress blog what happens to you, Yvonne . I replied on my site in giving some news about janine and her broken shoulder .
You have all my support . About Janine the surgeon did not want to make a surgery and she had the arm blocked with a sling . What a patience ! Now she is rather well but the mucles have been bruised too and they are not happy.
Again , I have compassion for you
    Love ❤

    • Oh, if only! Healing is a slow process, I’m finding, and doing things with the left hand isn’t easy. Your task for tomorrow is to dress next morning, using only your left hand. Or, you can choose to do the dishes using your non-dominant hand. 😊

Well, at least the surgeon is tall and dark! Ooh! and Woo! 😉
Oh, okay, competent is good, too! 😛

It’s hard for me to behave myself. Your discipline does help. At least a little. 😛
HA! I will do everything you do, and then some! 😀

I don’t know any tall, dark, competent orthopaedic surgeons but I do know an excellent upper gastrointestinal surgeon who will whip your stomach out if that will help. O_o 🙄 🐻

  40. So so very sorry Yvonne. I brought my runners to Venice and broke my wrist some months ago. Your slip makes me very aware that accidents can happen to anyone and if nothing else, you remind me to take extra care. We wish you a safe trip home, successful and speedy recovery so you can take up your holiday where you left off. Mel and I are planning a trip to Bright later in the year and perhaps we could call in to see you with the makings of a spritz!?

Wait, does this mean you are currently in hospital in Naples? If so, at least you might take some comfort from knowing that the Italian healthcare system is very good, and I’m sure you have charmed all those looking after you!
