Frustration

I saw these in Pistoia, and now, of course, I’m kicking myself for not finding out more about them. What are the odds I shan’t be able to find them if I go back to this interesting city in Tuscany?

  5. Oh, my…they are very intriguing! Now I’m wondering the thoughts behind their creations. But then, I am always curious and want to know what artists, songwriters, authors (especially poets) were thinking about when they created their works…and most don’t want to tell. They want us to find our own meaning and inspiration and “stories” in their pieces. 🙂
    HUGS!!! 🙂

  7. The lovely stemma at the top looks like a modified Chigi family crest, with the six mountains. I’m not sure what to make of the monkey holding a lily– usually the lily is associated with particular saints like Dominic. Do let us know what you find out!

Yvonne, Miky from passion4fashionpassion4food.com will know as she lives in Pistoia. She is a great ambassador for Pistoia. Tell her that I suggested. I caught up with Miky when I was there in May and she was wonderful.

  15. As Mom would have said, “you’ll find them in the last place you look for them.”
