Well, that’s it for me, from Downtown Dismal Swamp. When next I drift into your life, I may be showing scenes with snow and a shivering cat. Cheers!

  2. Too bad you can’t find a bar like our friend Pecora Nera but then again hopefully it won’t take months to get your internet hooked up.
I know I feel like my arm has been cut off ….or at least my life line to the world when I can’t connect.

  3. This blogging community is an addiction, isn’t it? I panic when I lose my connection. I hope you get yours again soon!

  4. I miss you too. I’m sure we all do. I thought it was something like this.
We look forward to your posts again soon.
What on earth did we do before the internet? Sadly….we didn’t know each other existed. The internet is a wonderful thing!

  5. Love the fish display. When I was at Art College, I made a whole lot of maquettes for ironic ‘mantlepiece sculptures’. I though at the time I was being very avant garde.

    • I’m internet-less, aside from access at the local library, and it’s not fun! Maybe the big hookup will happen this Friday. I miss the world of blogdom and all of its inmates/ inspired contributors. 🙂

  14. At first I thought, well that’s just a dinner tableau, then I noticed the teeth. Yipes. Maybe someone was in the Amazon?

  15. Now that’s what I call pageantry — even Florentine minivans are decked out in gaudy livery!

  16. I suppose if you ran a competition asking for the fish to be given a name you’d choose Derrick’s suggestion even before any other names were received. I would like to suggestion the fish be called Wanda – but then that’s probably too original…! 😀
