Spotted on a street in Dismal Swamp, this cheeky little vehicle. At first glance I thought it was a Citroen, but a closer look revealed it’s a Nissan product.

My poor knees love sitting in my SUV…the down side of being tall!

That’s true, Jane! And, I’m sure you’re a courteous SUV driver!

Thank you for this. This cheered me up, as I am about to say a final goodbye to my trusty ‘L’ Reg. Nissan Sunny.

Aw, it hurts to say goodbye to steadfast friends.

It could be the family pet, as well as a vehicle.

Hmmm, I don’t know about this vehicle. It is a bit weird looking. I can’t see that you’re getting any of this Antarctic vortex weather we’re suffering through further south Yvonne. That blue sky is gorgeous.

No, it’s been lovely and cool at night, but no snow!

It was frigid here today, maximum of 8 degrees but with the wind chill it felt like -7 according to tonight’s local news. I actually thought it felt like -70!

I love the eyebrows. and I agree with gerard about SUVs. If you are behind them in traffic you can’t see anywhere.

And heaven forbid you are trying to pull out of a parking spot with one on each side of you! My little (not so little really) Honda Civic just disappears between them.

It’s always tricky backing out in those situations, Michele.

What I really hate is when I’ve parked in a “compact only” space and those behemoths are on either side….also in compact only spaces. Not only are they destroying the environment….they can’t read either.

In my area we have many winding roads, where it’s not possible (nor legal) to overtake. That’s when these big boys decide to drop down to 80km in the 100 km zones! One finds depths of patience never before discovered, suchled!

That car looks cute. I bet it runs on next to nothing. Considering most car trips are taken by a single person, they should be made obligatory together with a ban on all SUV’s.

I hope I see it again, along with its owner, so I can grill him/her, and maybe get a little test ride.
Yes, very few of us need the huge petrol/gas/diesel guzzlers we see on the roads

I thought it was cute at first but then I decided I wouldn’t want to drive one, so I’ve qualified it as “cute in an ugly sort of way.”

Inside, it was extremely utilitarian, Anneli. It would be a good little vehicle for getting the groceries, taking the dog to the vet, etc.

Practical, yes, but it’s no Ferrari.
