This comment from Ralph, “I suppose the police use seahorses in Venice“, sent the very talented Andante to her drawing board to produce this Venetian version of a mounted policeman carrying out his duties. Thank you both for your participation!

Incredible! I love it! I think each poliziotto in Venice should be issued one of those!

Maybe the new sindaco can arrange that!
I somehow don’t think the water police would give up their jet skis though …

Can you imagine any “man” giving up a jet ski? Or any other loud engine?

I don’t think she has a blog, Ralph. But, here’s another of her offerings, and I’ll try to find another, just for you, my goofy friend. ❤

Wow. The tour cartoon was 18 months ago and I even commented then. Have we been in touch for that long ? I must get a life 😉 ❤

Oooh, yes please! Already had one today, before dinner, but always got room for another – con Aperol, per favore! Thank you, Ralph, for the comments ( making me blush) -it’s comments like that that send me off into a drawing…..

Truly she is! I’m still giggling at the visual in my head and knowing that the police would still be just as arrogant. 😀

It would be a tad difficult not to let a smile creep up on your face, if the water police showed up like that!

Here’s a previous one she did for me, after a group of us had taken a boat trip through the canals of Venice. We had remarked they would have had to be tugged along in a dinghy, the boat was full.
