I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for this primary colour.

Red always catches my eye too.
It’s pretty darn hard to ignore. 🙂
Cool set of photos. My favorite photo is the motor boat photo. Being a man, my favorite color is blue, especially flash blue. My wife has a red outdoor jacket and I have the blue one. 🙂
I’ll be the look out
for things with the colour blue
just for you. 🙂
Thank You. Did You notice that I had my blue outdoor jacket in couple of photos in the snow hotel?
Yes, I did! I think you would look great in red. 🙂
Well, I have red one also.
Walking on frozen lake.
Yes! I like you in red, it’s surely your colour. I’d love to do Nordic skating on that ice.
Many Lutheran churches here in the southeast have red doors. It symbolizes the blood of Christ.
On another note, I’d like to see Gillian Vigman in a red dress. Yeah.
There you go, Phil!
I had to look online to see who Gillian Vigman is, and found many photos, but none of her in a red dress. There was one of her feet, with red nail polish ….
oo I missed that one. She’s on commercials as Jack In The Box’s wife. And also on a movie I’m watching with the kids called “Aliens in the Attic.” She brings the acceptability factor up considerably. *swoon*
We seem to suffer from Gillian deprivation in the Land Down Under.
I’ll just bring her with me if ever I visit.
I love the fourth picture down and the last one, the red door. I like red doors. They seem symbolic of something. I’m not sure what, but something.
Trust you to come up with a deep and meaningful something, Phil.
OMG! I totally forgot my red shoe addiction!
Can I jump in that red boat and I would love to arrive to the red door. In the midst of our winter that vibrant color brings on a big smile.
You can be our guest, Sue. You can wear the red jeans and your pick of the red jackets, as a special treat.
I am smiling as I will wear both at the same time then you won’t lose me.
I was a strawberry blond when young and two of my kids are redheads so red is not a colour that has figured largely in my life in regard to clothing and personal items. I do love it on a kitchen appliance, though.
How about red shoes?
GASP! How did you know?? 🙂

Aww, you were (are) so darn cute!
I LOVE red – I’ve just realised I’m wearing red 4 out of 5 work days at the moment! I might need to go shopping 😉
Yes, get shopping. Oh, and how about a red leopard skin print!!! Now, that would get attention. 🙂
Probably not the good kind though 😉
Just think of the blog post you could get from that!
I actually had a red leopard print dress at one time. I used to wear it to work to push the envelope because we had a dress code that said no paisley (really! I think the boss had an aversion to the 1960’s) so I would find whatever other print I could find to wear.
And no, it was not bodcon. It was very tasteful….just that crazy print.
By the way, leopard (I think you know this) is another staple of my wardrobe. I told my administrator at a meeting that it was my favorite color. Although I do prefer the beige and black version….usually paired with something red!
There were a few red body cons at the Oscars last night and an incredible green one (on Scarlet Johanson I think). Now if I just had the body that could be poured into one of those dresses…..
Although after your blog I almost bought a pair of red jeans. Doubt if I would have the courage to wear them….the purple ones are still in the closet.
Purple (which I do not fancy) and red seem to be such regal colours, Michelle.
It never fails especially when there is a strong contrast involved. More please.
I should be able to do that for you, Andrew.
Blazes, YES! Red screams to me…”Come hither and seek.” 😘
Red is definitely not a subtle colour, coffeeg.
It’s a basic color in my wardrobe but so far have avoided red pants (rethinking that one) but also have red chair in the living room (I’m sitting in it), red drapes in my bedroom and you should see my kitchen. I’m so glad they are making small appliances in red!
It’s such a cheery, chirpy colour, Michelle.
It is and then when you add a bouquet of yellow flowers it makes my day!
I red this post Yvonne. So glad I’m not colour blind as I love red, especially women in long red dresses 😀 xox ❤ (oh, the heart is red too !)
I red your comment, Ralphie. 🙂
My brother was colour blind and saw only grey. (He was a bus driver, until the powers that be made that basic discovery!)
Cheers to you, Samantha and Sonic. How is baby Liam?? oxo ❤
😀 I bet your brother transferred to Greyhound in the USA 😉
Liam is fine, growing and his mum is happy with him 😀 ❤
Hey, how did you know that about my brother?
Say hello to Toni and the family. Baci to you, Ralphie. ❤
Heehee ! An obvious solution to his colour blindness 😀
Will do. I will pass on your hello to them.
Baccy to you Yvonne (oh, that’s my smoking post !) ❤
I LOVE red!
So do I, J.
it’s the colour of love!!! one of my favourites 🙂
All the red lovers have appeared, Mrs B. (5 more get-ups until I head for Florence. Evviva.)
My favourite colour
It does make a statement, John. And, it’s not in a whisper, is it?
I won’t tell you the whole story but I introduced a lady friend to my father. When we arrived he was just about to clean out a small fish pond that had about six inches of mud in the bottom. Bad mistake! Cleaning out ponds was one of her good things. So she rolled up her jeans, hopped in the pond and started cleaning. Al you could see was dirty water, dirty mud and bright red flashes of her nail polish. “I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for this primary colour.” Dad was impressed as well. I didn’t, but I still wish I had.
Ah, opportunities lost, suchled.
Yes. A life time lost!
Photo 6 is the first bodycon puffa jacket I’ve seen.
Ooooh, Bert! We thought all those red jackets and things would cause you actual pain! As soon as we saw this post we thought of you, going round Venice carefully “eliminating” (We wondered exactly how?) anyone wearing red.
Be on the lookout for a fellow with a shepherd’s hook, removing those pesky people in red, Andante.
You’re such a fashion guru, Bert! (I thought it was a bog standard Helly Hansen, not one of these numbers.) Imagine THIS in red!
You might enjoy this…
You know me too well, Lady …
Aw, who doesn’t need a bit of silliness on a Monday 🙂
Going through Campo Sant’Agnese yesterday morning, we noticed the red benches looked really bright – we thought they must have been recently painted, and were also standing out more against a grey and rainy day.
I look forward to seeing the new coat of paint, Caroline. And, the woman who sits there while her “violinist” husband does some busking nearby. 🙂
Fire engine red, stop sign red, dynamite red! What a fun color. I don’t think I would want it in my bedroom though, too overstimulating.
You’d need very subdued lighting, Carol. 🙂
We must be related – I love red too.
I especially love red jeans.
love red in doors & shoes!
