Castello

There are nice touches of colour in the first two photos. (These houses are from the 17th century.)

These window shutters were a departure from the usual dark green paint.

Who lives on the other side of this window, to enjoy those toys hanging there?

What little child lost his/her car in this park in Castello?

  2. I love that aqua color, so refreshing and cheerful! I know, I know, I use a lot of exclamation points. I just do it to annoy Mike. 😉

  6. It’s nice to see some of the plaster painted and cared for. There is so much of it falling off the buildings, as if the whole place were in decay.I like the first two photos. It looks clean and cared for at this house.

  8. Wasn’t it nice that the step ladder was painted to match? Opps, maybe that was by accident.
Isn’t there some kind of law or regulation that all shutters must be green? In Greece where my friends live they have only recently branched out and allowed people to trim their buildings in something other than the distinctive blue….but the buildings are still white.

  9. It’s nice to have an antidote to bad days at work, Joanne! Now, are you looking as a visitor, or a resident? 🙂

  10. I wonder if the green shutters are by habit or legislation?
