I found one of its mates the other day, equally soft and happy to be patted. How is your big baby doing?

Oh, groan, Ralph. You’re lucky I’m far away from you, or I’d have to be a stern nurse to you! 🙂 oxo

C’est toujours avec un immense plaisir que je rencontre un des chats de l’ex-squero dei Muti, quand j’ai beaucoup de chance je vois les trois.
Celui ci est toujours très sympatique.
Merci et à bientôt

Ah, the lovely Minx….looking for all the world like she was placed on that doilie on purpose.
Definitely get cat- sick when I go away. Even a trip to San Lorenzo helps a bit. Although they are wary and won’t let you touch them. I do find cats come out more on a sunny day. Or at least a warmer day.

Michelle, she sort of nudged various little rocks aside and nestled in there. Why bother buying cat beds when they find their own spot?

Yes, cat beds do tend to be a waste of money….although I had a couple of them for a while that did get used because they were in the window. But since I no longer have a sunny window she prefers the pillow placed on the trunk at the end of my bed….for now…who knows where it will be next week? Or even tomorrow.

We know exactly what you mean by “catsickness” – that’s what leads us home, isn’t it? She looks lovely, and the pose reminds us of one of ours!

All cats are beautiful, in our opinion, and when we’re away from home and our own, we’re always on the look-out for a local cat to admire. Sadly, the very first time we went to Venice …. it took us FOUR days to find one! By then we were really in a bad way. Since then we’ve got better at seeking them out there. That one is a real beauty, though. thanks

The cats seem to be good at hiding away, don’t they? I’m not homesick, but I’m a little cat-sick! Here’s the little Minx, waiting for me. 🙂

There’s another bold little fellow not far from where I’m staying. He wanders the neighbourhood, is well know and is admitted to several homes. I’ll post photos of that one later.

I think I have seen that gorgeous creature in some of the E-Venise videos. I’ll have to wander over there and look for him/her when I’m there next. On a sunny day of course. There seem to be more cats out with the sun.

Hi Yvonne! That’s my neighbour! It always comes to see me when I cross the bridge and I can pet it. There are two other cats who live there.
What’s up with the bridge?
Have a nice day!

I didn’t see the other cats that day.
There didn’t seem to be any action with the bridge! I’ll see if the tape has gone next time I’m in that direction.

Dear Yvonne,
Wow, now that’s a beautiful cat – he looks pretty well fed so I guess he’s not one of those “stray” ones?
The sun came out yesterday afternoon – it disappeared for two weeks – so was a very welcome visitor!
Have a lovely weekend
Ciao from Vienna
