The street lights here are just special.
Fresh from the sands of the Lido.
And, this seems like a good philosophy to greet another new year.

Happy New Year Yvonne.
I’m looking forward to your posts from the Serenissima
Hi, Daniel, and Happy New Year to you.
Venice is bound to throw up a few surprises, I’m sure.
Happy new year and best wishes to you and yours for health and happiness in 2014 and beyond!
I wonder what 2014 will bring, Russel? Health and happiness would suffice.
Hi Yvonne 😀 You have me wondering. Why are you standing under a street light ? 😉 Ralph xox 😀
Umm, I’m not obliged by some obscure WordPress legalise to answer that question, am I Ralph? Please don’t make me talk. 😉 oxo
How do you think a girl gets the airfare from Australia, Ralph?
Oh, no, now you’re ganging up on me. Buon Anno anyhow, Andrew.
By the way, have you read Ralph’s blog? It’s worth a look, but don’t tell him I said so. He’s got such a big head already. 🙂
I hav vays of making you talk. I vill start by the feet tickling 😉
Oh, no, I may as well surrender now, Ralph. Your methods are cruel.
Have a good day, tickle the cats instead. 🙂 oxo
I have that same photo of “I Just Desiree to Touch the Sky!” — I have a whole collection of love graffiti from Venezia… I know it isn’t PC, but there is no love graffiti anywhere else like Venezia!
Hi, Maya. It’s not long until you’ll be here.
Every city has graffiti, I guess. This example seems somehow less offensive than the ugly scribbles and tags that we see.
Fantastic photos and info – and of course Happy New Year!
Bet your cat misses you 😉
Today, I wondered what mischief she and her son (The Thug) got up to, after they had one of their long naps!
Happy New Year to you, Arthur.
Reblogged this on victormiguelvelasquez.
Aw, thanks for doing that, Victor. Buon Anno.
