I really like this little shrine, with so many elements to it. But, where was it?
My next post should have fresh material. See ya later!

Yvonne, it looks like we’ll pass each other at the airport, sorry to miss you, have a great time in La Serenissima.
Weather is good, apart from the freak Aqua Alta today!
One of these years, I’ll see you folks again! Please take any bad weather home with you.
Merry Christmas to Yvonne and all the people that follow her wonderful blog.
And, the very same back to you, Daniel. I hope 2014 is a year of excitement and discovery for you.
(He’s the author of this truly wonderful blog: http://aloverofvenice.com/ folks.)
Hi Yvonne 😀 Merry Christmas !! To find it, walk out to your nearest billabong, turn right and go walkabout for 18 months. It’s just to the left of the croc with the gold tooth. Can’t miss it !! 😉 Hugs. Ralph xox 😀
Merry Christmas, Ralph and cats. I wish you were going to be in Venice, it sounds like you’d never get lost. Have you got your nice cozy fire going? Hugs to you. oxo 😀
Is this the bloke?
My !! You were quick !!! Yes, that’s the boy !!
It’s raining hard so the log burner is lit, my cats are wrapped around it and I am finishing off blogging for the night. Happy holidays Yvonne ! Ralph xox 😀
Merry Christmas from Vienna, dear Yvonne!
Wishing you a safe journey to Venice and Happy Holidays from Vienna
Hello Liz, and Season’s greetings to you, also. I’ll have a spritz for you when I’m in Cannaregio.
I have a rather silly request. I like watching the Hotel Concordia webcam at lunch time and at other odd times. Could you nominate a friendly Australian EST and give me a wave at that first flag pole, You can wear red if you like 😉 and you would have to wave for at least 20 seconds. Am I asking too much?
Best wishes and a safe journey.
Hi, Anna. I’ll send you an email and we can thrash out the details! Midday EST would find me at the flagpole at around 2am, so you can imagine my answer to that time! 🙂 Yes, it’s back to a red jacket, Anna, after a dismal black experiment.
Season’s greetings to you.
Wow, when I visited this shrine, it was so overgrown that I could barely see it. Glad you found it and it’s nice to see what it really looks like.
Happy holidays to you!
I’ll be taking a much closer look, Annie. I had a feeling either you or Bert would point me in the right direction.
The photos that were present before seem to be gone now. There’s sure a story attached to this modest shrine.
Felice Anno Nuovo.
That certainly looks like the one, Bert. Thanks for the detective work. I’ll check it out early in January.
(There’s quite a lot about San Luigi Gonzaga online.)
It looks like this one:
My Christmas present to you!
Best Christmas wishes to you and your family. Looking forward to your new Venice updates! Jo
Season’s best wishes to you, Jo. I’m looking forward to new Venetian treasures, too!
Buon Natale, Susie and Mark. You look so happy and right at home.
Buon Natale Y!
You will Yvonne, safe journey,
Hi, Jan. Merry Christmas to you. I hope you weren’t blown off the map.
I hope I do spot that shrine again, and pay more attention to it this time!
