Smoking lounge, Hong Kong airport
Yes, Yvonne. In fact I thought I had it with me for Sheila’s party in Venice. That’s what I was hunting for in my bag to show you, but I had forgotten it. I brought one with me recently for a weekend trip and found out I need a new battery. Don’t use it that often because my throat started to hurt.
I’ve been in one in Frankfurt airport. Horrible, disgusting! I go in for a couple of puffs and run out. In fact, it’s so bad you don’t even have to light up. Just breathe in………. I’ve been wearing the patch when I fly…
Pat, it’s good (in a strange way) to get first hand feedback on one of these lounges. Have you ever used one of those electronic cigarettes??
Interesting what kind of system they have to keep it from “escaping” out into the surrounding air.
Also interesting…the placement of the frosted stripes on the glass.
Good luck with quitting!
This one didn’t look as smoke filled as others I’ve seen, they must have refined the extraction process. Yes, good luck to around and about. 🙂
I tried one personally and inside it’ s even worst… One more good reason to give up!
Do it, we’ll be your cheering squad!
Couldn’t imagine anything worse than sitting in a small space with a room full of smokers. They must have really needed it, :).
It must be hell for them, facing 12 or so hours without a cigarette!
Interesting, but how awful!!!
I was glad to be on the outside of that ‘cage’, Anneli.
The gas chamber?
Exactly, Lou! Just imagine being inside there.
