Even the council rubbish tins proudly display evidence of the mining past in Herberton.

How cool! It’s a shame not everywhere is so proud of its industrial past, although I suppose a lot of ex-industrial towns in Britain are still recovering (or not) from the devastation of the 1980s.
“They” are everywhere!
Maybe they used tin royalties to cover the cost? They could use a few of these in the Piazza in Venice, I think.
Maybe they held a contest at the local high school and the students did it in metal shop. We can hope.
And yes, they do need a few in many areas of Venice. If those tourists would use them if they were there.
Ever notice our “them and us” mentality?
PS…We need them in the parking lot outside my office too!
So many of “them”, so few of “us”, eh? 🙂
And a very artistic rubbish bin at that!
