An embarrassment of riches

Just a few hours spent walking, and there’s so much to see, comment on, photograph. I dare not leave my camera at home!

In Piazza San Marco, signs of structural problems. I wonder if the ebb and flow of the tides had something to do with this?

After I took a photo of the featured pissotta, I walked into the little campo just beyond it. What a treasure-house in this one little place.

They might even have a cat!

And, don’t say I haven’t been warning you.

  1. Shell, you mean you’re not inspired to make one of your luscious watercolours of these Venetian treasures!? 🙂

  2. Euww ~ the realities of life, I guess. 😉 Aside from that, though, what a bunch of treasures you found.

Come on, it is a common problem in cities with a dearth of public restrooms(and even some who do) and such yummy things to drink…..many men will just do it anywhere, sometimes even when they are told not to. My late husband was one of them. Speaking of embarassment.

And dear Yvonne that was indeed an embarassment of riches.

  4. So is there a plague of urinary problems that necessitates so many pissottas and so many warnings?
