Oops, sorry. I clicked reply too soon. I recently got a comment on my blog from an artist who is having an exhibit in this cloister….her name is Elena but I need to check the rest of her name. I’m glad they are using this space for art!
Do you know how long her exhibit will be open there? I’d give my first born son to be able to live there. (I hope you’re not reading this, NOS!)
You’re really close, Steve. It’s Santi Cosma e Damiano, Giudecca. There are lucky people living in the apartments in the vicinity of the cloister, and also the odd cat or two.
Lovely pic & I also love the quotation. I know it’s not the cloisters of S Francesco della Vigna, nor S Pietro di Castello, nor the one near S. Salvatore, but I’ve yet to visit S Giorgio. Is it there?
Same here. Thanks for dropping in, I’ll just make you a mug of chai! xx 🙂
Love this quote…..thank you.
