Very old espresso maker, in Campo Santa Margherita. That coffee was HOT.
Water door latch with character
Wooden door, showing signs of age and weather

Randallo, you have the soul of a poet! 🙂
You and Sheila can find that espresso machine in the Caffe (That’s all it’s called), on the same side of Campo Santa Margherita as you’ll find “Mood”.
The latch and door show quality of construction – artisan work – and character to do their jobs quietly, without complaint, over the long years. Perhaps they love (if inanimate things can have that relationship) their brave presentation against the elements over the many long years, as they have been well endowed by their creator.
Somewhere in my spiritual home! (Not Atherton …)
I love the door. Where was that?
